The first step in building an Open Inventor application is to open a new project using the VC++ IDE (interactive development environment).
- On the File menu, click New.
- In the dialog box that appears, click the Projects tab.
- Select IVF AppWizard (exe) as the project type.
- In the Project name box, type the name of your new project.
- In the Location box, specify a directory for the new project files.
- Click OK to start the IVF AppWizard.
NOTE: This dialog box is a standard VC++ dialog box. Click the What's This help button in each dialog box for standard MFC help information.
